Facts Neither the US Coast Guard, nor the US Coast Guard Auxiliary have any involvement with the founding of Lifeboats-USA. However, both of those government agencies, as well as the boating public will greatly benefit from the additional FREE Search and Rescue (SAR) resources and faster response assistance to save lives and property within the geographic area of operations of Lifeboats-USA. Lifeboats-USA is a non-profit organization and receives no funding from any government agency. Our Mission To minimize the loss of life, personal injury, property damage, and environmental impact associated with the use of recreational boats, through preventive means, in order to maximize safe use and enjoyment of U.S. Waterways by the public.
